In Christ’s Name – Acts 4:12
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”
By Confession – Romans 10:9-10
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
By Endurance – Matthew 24:13
but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.
By Christ’s Life – Romans 5:10
For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!
Praying for Others
Daniel confessed the sins of the Israelites and prayed for them
Daniel 9:3-19 – kindly read
Jesus prayed for those who stoned him
Acts 7:60
Then he fell on his knees and cried out, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” When he had said this, he fell asleep.
Jeremiah 9:24
"... I am the LORD, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight," declares the LORD.
Two truths are equally crucial for us to understand in this passage. First, God is kind, just and righteous. Second, he delights in these things when he sees them in us. So what does your life stand for? Let's be like our Father and take on the lifestyle of loving kindness, the cause of justice for all, and the character of righteousness.
Why? Because we should have no greater joy than to bring delight to the Father!
