God’s glory
Romans 5:1-5
1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we
have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace
in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.
3 Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because
we know that suffering produces perseverance;
4 perseverance, character; and character, hope.
5 And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out
his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.

others Pharisees, called out in the Sanhedrin, “My brothers, I am a Pharisee,
the son of a Pharisee. I stand on trial because of my hope in the resurrection
of the dead.”
Acts 24:15
And I have the same hope in God as these men, that there will
be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked.
1 Thessalonians 4:13
Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who
fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope.
Titus 2:13
while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of
our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,
1 John 3:3
Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as
he is pure.
