1. I am not ashamed of the Gospel
Romans 1:6
And you also are among those who are called to belong to
Jesus Christ.
2. Be not ashamed of the testimony of
the Lord
2 Timothy 1:8
So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, or ashamed of
me his prisoner. But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of
God,
3. I am not ashamed because I know Him
2 Timothy 1:12
That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet I am not ashamed,
because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard
what I have entrusted to him for that day.
4. The Christian is not ashamed when he
suffers
1 Peter 4:6
For this is the reason the gospel was preached even to those
who are now dead, so that they might be judged according to men in regard to
the body, but live according to God in regard to the spirit.
5. There is nothing of which I shall be
ashamed
Philippians 1:20
I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed,
but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted
in my body, whether by life or by death.
6. Whoever is ashamed of Christ, Jesus
will also be ashamed of him
Matthew 10:33
But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before
my Father in heaven.
Mark 8:33
But when Jesus turned and looked at his disciples, he rebuked
Peter. “Get behind me, Satan!” he said. “You do not have in mind the things of
God, but the things of men.”
Luke 9:26
If anyone is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will
be ashamed of him when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and
of the holy angels.
