John 14:12-15
12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do
what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am
going to the Father.
13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son
may bring glory to the Father.
14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
15 “If you love me, you will obey what I command.
John 15:7
If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever
you wish, and it will be given you.
John 15:16
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to
go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever
you ask in my name.
John 16:23-26
23 In that day you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you
the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.
24 Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask
and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.
25 “Though I have been speaking figuratively, a time is
coming when I will no longer use this kind of language but will tell you
plainly about my Father.
26 In that day you will ask in my name. I am not saying that
I will ask the Father on your behalf.
Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because
anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those
who earnestly seek him.
James 1:7-8
7 That man should not think he will receive anything from the
Lord;
8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.
1 John 3:22
And receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his
commands and do what pleases him.
1 John 5:13-14
13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the
Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.
14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if
we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
