Romans 8:35-39
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall
trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
36 As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day
long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors
through him who loved us.
38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither
angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,
39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all
creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ
Jesus our Lord.
Jeremiah 31:3
The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved
you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.
Ephesians 2:4-5
4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in
mercy,
5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in
transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.
Romans 5:8-10
8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we
were still sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much
more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him!
10 For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to
him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall
we be saved through his life!
1 John 4:7-8
7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from
God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is
love.
