Acts 25:24
Festus said: “King Agrippa, and all who are present with us,
you see this man! The whole Jewish community has petitioned me about him in
Jerusalem and here in Caesarea, shouting that he ought not to live any longer.
Romans 2:5-11
5 But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant
heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath,
when his righteous judgment will be revealed.
6 God “will give to each person according to what he has done.”
7 To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor
and immortality, he will give eternal life.
8 But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth
and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.
9 There will be trouble and distress for every human being
who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile;
10 but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good:
first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.
11 For God does not show favoritism.
Hebrews 9:27
Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face
judgment,
Hebrews 10:27
But only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire
that will consume the enemies of God.
2 Peter 3:7
By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved
for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
Revelation 20:11-15
11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on
it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the
throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of
life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the
books.
13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and
Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according
to what he had done.
14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire.
The lake of fire is the second death.
15 If anyone's name was not found written in the book of
life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
