There is
God’s anger in judgment:
Matthew 3:7
But when he
saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to where he was baptizing, he
said to them: “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming
wrath?
Romans 1:18
The wrath of
God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of
men who suppress the truth by their wickedness,
Romans 2:5
But because
of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath
against yourself for the day of God's wrath, when his righteous judgment will
be revealed.
Romans 2:8-9
8 But for
those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will
be wrath and anger.
9 There will
be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew,
then for the Gentile;

5 But if our
unrighteousness brings out God's righteousness more clearly, what shall we say?
That God is unjust in bringing his wrath on us? (I am using a human argument.)
6 Certainly
not! If that were so, how could God judge the world?
Romans 5:9
Since we
have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from
God's wrath through him!
Ephesians
2:3
All of us
also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature
and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature
objects of wrath.

Let no one
deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on
those who are disobedient.
Colossians

Because of
these, the wrath of God is coming.

Thessalonians 1:9-10
9 for they
themselves report what kind of reception you gave us. They tell how you turned
to God from idols to serve the living and true God,
10 and to
wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead—Jesus, who rescues
us from the coming wrath.
Psalms 2:12
Kiss the
Son, lest he be angry and you be destroyed in your way, for his wrath can flare
up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.
There is
God’s anger with those who disobey the Lord Jesus:
John 3:36
Whoever
believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see
life, for God's wrath remains on him.”
There was
God’s anger with Israel in the wilderness:
Hebrews 3:11
So I
declared on oath in my anger, ‘They shall never enter my rest.’ ”
There was
the anger of the Lord Jesus at man’s hardness of heart:
Matthew 3:5
People went
out to him from Jerusalem and all Judea and the whole region of the Jordan.
