Man is a Sinner fallen from original righteousness and a
high, intelligent and responsible place as head of the present creation. Apart
from God’s redemption grace is lost. Man is not the unfortunate victim of
environment, one who through self-culture can make good.
Romans 3:23-25
23 for all have sinned and fall short
of the glory of God,
24 and are justified freely by his
grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
25 God presented him as a sacrifice
of atonement, through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his
justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand
unpunished—
Hebrews 1:1-3
1 In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the
prophets at many times and in various ways,
2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom
he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe.
3 The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact
representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After
he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the
Majesty in heaven.
Hebrews 7:25
Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God
through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
Hebrews 9:22
In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed
with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will
forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 2:1-2
1 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not
sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our
defense—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.
2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for
ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
Revelation 1:5
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the
firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who
loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood,
