God’s desire for man
How God looks for man to seek him as seen in:
God looks down from heaven to see if any understand God’s
desire for man to seek him and give evidence of this seeking by acts of
righteousness –
Isaiah 32:17
The fruit of righteousness will be peace; the effect of
righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever.
Acts 10:35
But accepts men from every nation who fear him and do what is
right.
God waits for man to acknowledge his offense and seek his
face –
Hosea 5:15
Then I will go back to my place until they admit their guilt.
And they will seek my face; in their misery they will earnestly seek me.”
God invites man to seek him and emphasizes his omnipotence as

Amos 5:8
I (he who made the

LORD is his name—
Evangelism:
"A revival almost always begins among the laity. The
ecclesiastical leaders seldom welcome reformation. History repeats itself. The

that might require sacrifice on their part. And God's fire only falls on
sacrifice. An empty altar receives no fire!" – Frank Bartleman
