Luke
12:37
It will
be good for those servants whose master finds them watching when he comes. I
tell you the truth, he will dress himself to serve, will have them recline at
the table and will come and wait on them.

Everyone
has heard about your obedience, so I am full of joy over you; but I want you to
be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil.

so that
you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked
and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe

ignorance.
Revelation
17:14
They will
make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will overcome them because he is Lord
of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called chosen and faithful

Evangelism
"I ought to pray before seeing any one. Often when I
sleep long, or meet with others early, it is eleven or twelve o'clock before I
begin secret prayer. This is a wretched system. It is unscriptural. Christ
arose before day and went into a solitary place. David says: ‘Early will I seek
thee’, ‘Thou shalt early hear my voice.’ Family prayer loses much of its power
and sweetness, and I can do no good to those who come to seek from me. The
conscience feels guilty, the soul unfed, the lamp not trimmed. Then when in
secret prayer the soul is often out of tune. I feel it is far better to begin
with God-to see His face first, to get my soul near Him before it is near
another." - Robert Murray M'Cheyne
