1 Timothy 2:5
For there is one God and one mediator between God and men,
the man Christ Jesus,
Philippians 4:14-18
14 Yet it was good of you to share in my troubles.
15 Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days of
your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, not one
church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only;
16 for even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent me aid again
and again when I was in need.
17 Not that I am looking for a gift, but I am looking for
what may be credited to your account.
18 I have received full payment and even more; I am amply
supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They
are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.
Ephesians 4:28
He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work,
doing something useful with his own hands, that he may have something to share
with those in need.
Ephesians 2:20
Built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with
Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.
Romans 8:34
Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died—more than
that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also
interceding for us.
Acts 20:35
In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard
work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said:
‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
Acts 1:18
(With the reward he
got for his wickedness, Judas bought a field; there he fell headlong, his body
burst open and all his intestines spilled out.
John 17:26
I have made
you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love
you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”
John 17:14-15
14 I have given them your word and the world has hated them,
for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world.
15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but
that you protect them from the evil one.
