Revelation 21:22-27
22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God
Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.
23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it,
for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.
24 The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the
earth will bring their splendor into it.
25 On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be
no night there.
26 The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into
it.
27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who
does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in
the Lamb's book of life.
2 Peter 3:13
But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a
new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness.
Hebrews 13:14
For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking
for the city that is to come.
Psalms 19:1
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the
work of his hands.
Hebrews 12:22-24
22 But you have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly
Jerusalem, the city of the living God. You have come to thousands upon
thousands of angels in joyful assembly,
23 to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in
heaven. You have come to God, the judge of all men, to the spirits of righteous
men made perfect,
24 to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the
sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.
John 3:16
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only
Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
