James 4:10
Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

1 John 3:8
He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil
has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to
destroy the devil's work.
1 John 4:4
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them,
because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
1 John 5:3-5
This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands
are not burdensome, 4for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the
victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5Who is it that overcomes
the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
Revelation 3:21
To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on
my throne, just as I overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the
