Those who are full of
vanity, pride and insolence:

thoughts there is no room for God.
Psalms 73:6
Therefore pride is their necklace; they clothe themselves
with violence.
Proverbs 8:13

evil behavior and perverse speech.

fall.

Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because
everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And those who walk in
pride he is able to humble.
1 John 2:16
For everything in the world—the cravings of sinful man, the
lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does—comes not from the
Father but from the world.
Those who are cruel,
greedy and oppressive to the poor:
Proverbs 14:31
He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but
whoever is kind to the needy honors God.
Proverbs 22:16
He who oppresses the poor to increase his wealth and he who
gives gifts to the rich—both come to poverty.
Proverbs 28:3
A ruler who oppresses the poor is like a driving rain that
leaves no crops.
James 2:6
But you have insulted the poor. Is it not the rich who are
exploiting you? Are they not the ones who are dragging you into court?
