Because he is born of God

1 John 3:9

Because we love the brethren

We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. Anyone who does not love remains in death.

Because greater is He that is in you

Because as He is, so we are

In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the Day of Judgment, because in this world we are like him.

Because fear hath torment

1 John 4:18

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

Because He first love us

1 John 4:19

We love because he first loved us.
