Rev. Dr. Emmanuel James - M.A., B.D., S.T.M, Ph. D, D.D.
(March 1, 1937 to June 6, 2017)
Has served as Pastor, Administrator, Teacher, Preacher, Professor and writer for the last 50 years. He served at various Theological Colleges, Seminaries, and Universities in India and U.S.A.
He was the first Director of Asian Institute of Theology, Bangalore, Chief Editor of Theological Book Trust and Visiting Professor at ACTS Academy of Higher Education and other Theological institutions in India and abroad.
He is the Author of several books in English, Kannada and Hindi, such as Bible Quiz Time, Ethics: A Biblical Perspective, God's Word for God's People (a book of sermons), A Study of Religions; "Igo Ninna Rashakanu" in Kannada and Pastri Manovigyan, Bible Bhashyashastra: Siddanth our Paddit in Hindi etc.
His book, "Bible Hermeneutics" in Hindi was awarded a National Award by the Government of India in 1986.
Note:
Rev. Dr. Emmanuel James is my eldest brother. He has been called by our Lord back to home on June 06, 2017.
I was away from Mumbai to Bangalore for attending his funeral service and other needs of the family.
