How to Be Saved? – 2 Thessalonians 2:10

By Loving the Truth – 2 Thes. 2:10

and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing.  They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.

By Life and Doctrine – 1 Timothy 4:16
Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save  both yourself and your hearers.

Questions in 2 Chronicles

12: 15
As for the events of Rehoboam’s reign, from beginning to end, are they not written in the records of Shemaiah  the prophet and of Iddo the seer that deal with genealogies? There was continual warfare between Rehoboam and Jeroboam
13:5
Don’t you know that the Lord, the God of Israel, has given the kingship of Israel to David and his descendants forever  by a covenant of salt?

13:9
But didn’t you drive out the priests  of the Lord,  the sons of Aaron, and the Levites, and make priests of your own as the peoples of other lands do? Whoever comes to consecrate himself with a young bull  and seven rams  may become a priest of what are not gods.

Isaiah 9:2

“The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.”

This great promise in Isaiah was fulfilled with the coming of Jesus (see Matthew 4:15-16; Luke 1:79). As darkness falls tonight, look out at a street light and capture it in your memory so that every time you see a light shining in the darkness it will remind you to do two things: give thanks to God for sending his light and commit yourself to sharing that light with those you know.

. "The greatest proof of Christianity for others is not how far a man can logically analyze his reasons for believing, but how far in practice he will stake his life on his belief." -  T. S. Eliot
