Nature of the evil heart

Their foolish heart was darkened:

Romans 1:21

For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Do err in their heart:

Psalms 95:10

For forty years I was angry with that generation; I said, “They are a people whose hearts go astray, and they have not known my ways.”

That heart is turned away from God:

Deuteronomy 29:8

We took their land and gave it as an inheritance to the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh.

Jeremiah 17:5

This is what the LORD says: “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the LORD.

Impenitent heart:

Evil heart of unbelief:

Hebrews 3:12

See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.

Hardness of heart:

Ephesians 4:18

They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts.

Uncircumcised heart:

Leviticus 26:41

Which made me hostile toward them so that I sent them into the land of their enemies—then when their uncircumcised hearts are humbled and they pay for their sin,
