What the Bible says about Old Age - 2

What the Bible says about Old Age -

Psalms 37:25

I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.

Philemon 1:9

Yet I appeal to you on the basis of love. I then, as Paul—an old man and now also a prisoner of Christ Jesus—

Isaiah 40:29

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

Ecclesiastes 6:3

A man may have a hundred children and live many years; yet no matter how long he lives, if he cannot enjoy his prosperity and does not receive proper burial, I say that a stillborn child is better off than he.

Jeremiah 45:3

You said, ‘Woe to me! The LORD has added sorrow to my pain; I am worn out with groaning and find no rest.’”

Ecclesiastes 6:6

Even if he lives a thousand years twice over but fails to enjoy his prosperity. Do not all go to the same place?

Psalms 71:17-18

17 Since my youth, O God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds.

18 Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your might to all who are to come.

Luke 2:37

And then was a widow until she was eighty-four. She never left the temple but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying.

Job 42:17

And so he died, old and full of years.

Genesis 15:15

You, however, will go to your fathers in peace and be buried at a good old age.
