Luke 4:1
Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and
was led by the Spirit in the desert,

The tempter
Matthew 4:3
The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God,
tell these stones to become bread.”
1 Thessalonians 3:5
For this reason, when I could stand it no longer, I sent to
find out about your faith. I was afraid that in some way the tempter might have
tempted you and our efforts might have been useless.
Beelzebub - “the prince of demons”
Matthew 12:24-28
24 But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, “It is only
by Beelzebub, the prince of demons, that this fellow drives out demons.”
25 Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, “Every kingdom
divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided
against itself will not stand.
26 If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself.
How then can his kingdom stand?
27 And if I drive out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your
people drive them out? So then, they will be your judges.
28 But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the
kingdom of God has come upon you.
Mark 3:22
And the teachers of the law who came down from Jerusalem
said, “He is possessed by Beelzebub! By the prince of demons he is driving out
demons.”
The wicked one
Matthew 13:19 When anyone hears the message about the kingdom
and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown
in his heart. This is the seed sown along the path.
