Entrance into the kingdom
Matthew 7:21
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the
kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Kept from falling
Mt 7Matthew 7:24-29
24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts
them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew
and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation
on the rock.
26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not
put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.
27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew
and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”
28 When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds
were amazed at his teaching,
29 because he taught as one who had authority, and not as
their teachers of the law.:24-29
Being blessed
James 1:22-25
22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive
yourselves. Do what it says.
23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it
says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror
24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately
forgets what he looks like.
25 But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that
gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but
doing it—he will be blessed in what he does.

Psalms 15:1-5
1 LORD, who may dwell in your sanctuary? Who may live on your
holy hill?
2 He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous,
who speaks the truth from his heart
3 and has no slander on his tongue, who does his neighbor no
wrong and casts no slur on his fellowman,
4 who despises a vile man but honors those who fear the LORD,
who keeps his oath even when it hurts,
5 who lends his money without usury and does not accept a
bribe against the innocent. He who does these things will never be shaken.
