Know God and Christ
John 17:2-3
2 For you granted him authority over all people that he might
give eternal life to all those you have given him.
3 Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only
true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
Enter right gate
Matthew 7:13-14
13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and
broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.
14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to
life, and only a few find it.
Cause no offence
Matthew 18:8-9
8 If your hand or your foot causes you to sin cut it off and
throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to
have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire.
9 And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw
it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes
and be thrown into the fire of hell.
Keep commandments
Matthew 19:7
“Why then,” they asked, “did Moses command that a man give
his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?”
Forsake all
Matthew 19:27
Peter answered him, “We have left everything to follow you!
What then will there be for us?”
