Galatians 6:8-9
8 The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that
nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the
Spirit will reap eternal life.
9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper
time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
If we sow the things of the flesh (that is, the things of
sin), then we will reap eternal punishment; but if we sow the things of the
Spirit (that is, the things of God), then we will reap eternal happiness and
joy! As we sow the things of God and cultivate them we must keep pressing on.
It may seem that our work is worthless, but in the end, we will reap eternal
life with God. For what better harvest could we hope?
