Lord Jesus is Able and we are Able

He is able to save:

Hebrews 7:25 “There

fore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them”.

He is able to make us stand:

Romans 14:4 “Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand”.

He is able to help those who are tempted:

Hebrews 2:18 “Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted”.

He is able to bring everything under His control: Philippians 3:21 “who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body”.

He is able to make all grace abound in us:

2 Corinthians 9:8 “And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work”.

He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine: Ephesians 3:20 “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us”.

He is able to establish us:

Romans 16:25 “Now to him who is able to establish you by my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past”.

He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him or that day:

2 Timothy 1:12 “That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet I am not ashamed, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him for that day”.

We Are Able:

We are able to be victorious:

Numbers 13:30 Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, “We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it”.

We are able to resist the temptation:

1 Corinthians 10:13 “No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it”.

We are able to take our stand against the devil’s schemes:

Ephesians 6: 11-13 “Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand”.

We are able to comfort those who are in trouble:

2 Corinthians 1: 3-5 “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows”.

We are able to grasp the love of Christ:

Ephesians 3: 18-19 “may have the power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God”.
