To Abraham
Genesis 12:7
The LORD appeared to Abram and said, “To your offspring I
will give this land.” So he built an altar there to the LORD, who had appeared
to him.
Genesis 17:1
When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to
him and said, “I am God Almighty; walk before me and be blameless.
Genesis 18:1
The LORD appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre
while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent in the heat of the day.
Isaac
Genesis 26:2
The LORD appeared to Isaac and said, “Do not go down to
Egypt; live in the land where I tell you to live.

Jacob
Genesis 35:1

your brother Esau.”

because it was there that God revealed himself to him when he was fleeing from
his brother.
