By me princes govern, and all nobles who rule on earth.

With me are riches and honor, enduring wealth and prosperity.

Proverbs 8:20

I walk in the way of righteousness, along the paths of justice,

Proverbs 10:2

Ill-gotten treasures are of no value, but righteousness delivers from death.

Proverbs 11:3-6

3 The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.

4 Wealth is worthless in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.

5 The righteousness of the blameless makes a straight way for them, but the wicked are brought down by their own wickedness.

6 The righteousness of the upright delivers them, but the unfaithful are trapped by evil desires.

Proverbs 11:16

A kindhearted woman gains respect, but ruthless men gain only wealth.

The wicked man earns deceptive wages, but he who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward.

Proverbs 11:19

The truly righteous man attains life, but he who pursues evil goes to his death.

Proverbs 11:30

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise.

Proverbs 12:17

A truthful witness gives honest testimony, but a false witness tells lies.

Humble Heart

The master will dress himself to serve and tell the servants to sit a the table, and he will serve them.  Luke 12:37

The humble heart honors others.

Again, is Jesus not our example?  Content to be known as a carpenter.  Happy to be mistaken for the gardener.  He served his followers by washing their feet.  He serves us by doing the same.  Each morning he gifts us with beauty.  Each Sunday he calls us to his table.  Each moment he dwells in our hearts… If Jesus is so willing to honor us, can we not do the same for others. - Max Lucado
