A Blessing for
Faithfulness
Seek to be holy, and in seeking holiness, serve God. As you
go into the world today, go in his presence, in anticipation of his glorious
return. And when he returns, may he find you faithful.
“I pray that Christ will live in your hearts by faith and
that your life will be strong in love and be built on love. And I pray that you
and all God’s holy people will have the power to understand the greatness of
Christ’s love— how wide and how long and how high and how deep that love is.”

Valuable to Him
“Be happy with me because I found my lost sheep.” Luke 15:6
When Jesus told the story of the missing sheep, some of the
people who were listening wiped away a tear because they knew how it feels to
be lost among the crowd. Jesus wanted us to understand that we have a Father
who sees and cares for each one of his children—that we are all equally
valuable to him.
We Know
When He shall appear, we shall be like Him
1 John 3:2
Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be
has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like
him, for we shall see him as he is.
Guarantee of judgment
2 Thessalonians 1:5
All this is evidence that God's judgment is right, and as a
result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are
suffering.
