That God enables you to live victoriously
1 Timothy 6:11-12
11 But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue
righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.
12 Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the
eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the
presence of many witnesses.
1 John 5:4-5
4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the
victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes
that Jesus is the Son of God.
That God is in Control
Psalms 27:1
The LORD is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The
LORD is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?
Jeremiah 32:27
“I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard
for me?
Isaiah 54:10
Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet
my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be
removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you.
That God examine Humility
Matthew 23:12
For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever
humbles himself will be exalted.
Ephesians 4:2
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one
another in love.
James 4:6
But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God
opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
Matthew 18:3-4
3 And he said: “I tell you the truth, unless you change and
become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
4 Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the
greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
