John 1:12
Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his
name, he gave the right to become children of God—
John 14:2-3
2 In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I
would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come
back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
John 6:55-59
55 For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.
56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in
me, and I in him.
57 Just as the living Father sent me and I live because
of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me.
58 This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your
forefathers ate manna and died, but he who feeds on this bread will live
forever.”
59 He said this while teaching in the synagogue in
Capernaum.
Luke 15:7
I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing
in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons
who do not need to repent.
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will
forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
1 Peter 3:18-22
18 For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for
the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made
alive by the Spirit,
19 through whom also he went and preached to the
spirits in prison
20 who disobeyed long ago when God waited patiently in
the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight
in all, were saved through water,
21 and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you
also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a good conscience
toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
22 who has gone into heaven and is at God's right
hand—with angels, authorities and powers in submission to him.
